Service Packages

A basic service is recommended every 6 Months.

Classic M.O.T Service

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Frame/Fork

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Handlebar/Headset/Stem

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Wheels/Tyres

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Drivetrain/Gears

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

A standard service is recommended every 12-15 Months.
Recommended for cargo bicycles also.
Any additional work will be added to cost.

Modern M.O.T Service

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Brakes (Brake & Pad Type)

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Bottom Bracket/Cranks

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Pedals

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur position/height

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Accessories

Singlespeeds, Fixies and BMXs. General check-over of parts and condition.

SingleSpeed service

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Saddle

Check saddle for wear/damage

Bicycle Build – Adult

Fit Tubular Tyre

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Depending on size of childs bicycle, price is from £30-40.

Bicycle Build - Child

will include loose ball bearings. Sealed bearings are extra. Hub will be stripped of cones, bearings and the axle. races will be cleaned, greased, new bearing (if needed), put back together. The freehub body will also be checked at this point for any issues arising.

Service Hub - Single

Hub assessed, clean and greased.

Spoke Tensions Balanced & Wheels Re-trued for Alignment (Front Wheel)

Bottom Bracket Fit
