Conduct

You agree to not use the Service to:

  • disrupt the normal flow of dialogue, cause a screen to “scroll” faster than other users of the Service are able to type, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users’ ability to engage in real time exchanges or to utilize the service on an AS IS basis as provided by us;

  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;

  • “stalk” or otherwise harass another;

  • commit any fraudulent or unlawful act, whether in relation to any third party provider of products and services on the Service or otherwise

  • collect or store personal data about any other users in connection with the prohibited conduct and activities set forth in paragraphs a. through l. above.

By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your county or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your county or province of residence. You may not use/access our service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your access to our services.

Service Terms

  • Bikebook at this moment grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and use the Service, under the conditions of these Terms & Conditions and for the duration of the Agreement.

  • The use of the Service is at the User’s own expense and risk. The User is responsible for meeting the technical and functional requirements and using the electronic communication facilities that are necessary to be able to access and use the Service.

  • The User will at all times bear the risk of loss, theft or damage to any of its data.

  • We are offering our basic membership as a Free membership. We reserve the right to charge for this service in the future if we deem necessary, but all Users will be made aware of any changes with a minimum due notice of 14 days before any request of funds will be need to be paid.

  • They have the option to pause the membership or delete their account completely.

  • General Users that browse our website in order to find the shop owner, can send shop owner messages through a built-in inbox. When submitting a message, the must leave a phone number/name and email address. It is not mandatory for users to create an account on our website; however, it’s recommended in case they want to access their inbox, leave a review, or create bookmarks.

  • We offered our listing service for the UK only. In the future, we’ll aim to expand into Europe.

  • We are using Google Map service for obtaining results nearby of your area, your browser could be requested to you for allowing the Location for fetching live location data and shows nearly listings.

Bikebook will have the right (but not the obligation), at its sole discretion, to review, edit, limit, refuse or remove Content, products or to limit or refuse the User access to the Service. More specifically in the event the use of the Service, according to us, violates these Terms of Use. We may disclose the User’s Personal Data or Content, or other data relating to the use of the Service, to third parties where it believes, in good faith, that it is necessary to comply with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, criminal or civil subpoena, or other legal process or to exercise its constitutional rights of defence against legal claims.

Prices & Payment Terms

Membership prices are listed on the sign up page. The basic website is a Free service. Additional features we plan to charge for. Payment can be made by credit card, Debit card, and/or as further described in the store. The User guarantees that the information submitted when using the Service, including without limitation, its payment details, shall be complete, correct, truthful and up to date. The User must inform Bikebook immediately about any inaccuracies in the offer provided, including the price. Our banking services and payment gateways manage all of our banking transactions. We don’t store any credit card numbers. Your payment is handled by the payment gateways with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to them and cannot be read or accessed by anyone.

Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites or application that are not affiliated with us. Bikebook is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of such website or application and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. You’re obliged to review carefully the third-party’s policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction.
