Service Packages

A premium service is recommended every 18-24 Months. This is a full strip down and rebuild service, the bike will be taken back to a bare frame and rebuilt, the price is for labour only and does not include parts, inital assessment is free and I can give an estimate of costs of parts

Premium Service

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur position/height

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

A Standard service is recommended every 12 Month. this almost a premium service but frame will not be stripped, everything else is pretty much the same.

Standard Service

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Get your bike assessed and then receive a quote.

This is for cup and cone bearing hubs only, cost includes both hubs

Hubs Adjusted for Play

Hydraulic Brake Bleed

Replace and fit new gear and/or brake cable

Internal Brake or Gear Cable Fit

Puncture Repair Excluding Inner Tub

Replace punctured inner tube with a new tube, price includes new tube

Price does not include new pads, fitting is for both front and rear

Replace Rim Brake Pad

Bearings to be removed, cleaned and inspected for wear and possible replacement, upon fitting both upper and lower bearing with be greased to slow down any water ingress

Service Headset

Removal of bearings, pawls and spring, cleaned and inspected for wear and possible replacement.
Upon refitting all bearings will be greased to slow down ingress of water and dirt.
Free hub will be removed and pawls cleaned and regreased.
Price does not included new bearings or pawls and spring
