With 35 years in the cycle trade, you could say I have nearly seen and done it all. It all started when I was 14 when I built my first wheel. From there an apprenticeship with a good few years at premier cycle shops in Dorset. During this time I spent 3 years as a professional race mechanic for the Orange Animal downhill mountain bike team. Since then I have been involved in my own businesses where I have been able to learn much more than what you would typically learn in a shop. I have been active in frame manufacturing and understanding the intricate details. I now spend my days dedicating myself to keeping my customer’s bikes on the road. Some refer to me as the bicycle engineer as I'm able to repair the things others cannot do.
