Recyke-a-bike is a charity. We aim to help more people into work and get more people in the community cycling. What we do: - Recycled Bike Sales & Affordable Repairs: Repairing and reselling bikes to make cycling affordable. - Cycle Training: Bikeability (Levels 1, 2 and 3): Teaching safe cycling to all primary schools in Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire. - Cycle Training: Learn to ride and confidence building sessions for adults and children. - Cycle Training: Disability sessions supporting inclusive cycling. - Dr Bike Sessions: Free safety checks and minor repairs at schools, hospitals, the local university and colleges, community centres, and events. - Bike Maintenance Courses: City & Guilds Level 1 and 2 training in professional bike maintenance. - E-Bike Library: Free access to electric bikes through a lending programme. - InspiRide Training and Employability Course: Skills training for job seekers in cycling-related roles. - Access to Bikes: Providing bikes to those who might not afford them otherwise. - Supportive Cycling: Including Wellness Rides, Active Travel Program and family rides. - Volunteer Programme: Opportunities for community members to gain skills in bike repair.
