This service focuses on the critical systems that affect safety and reliability, with a clear written report highlighting any wear, faults, or recommendations. If further servicing is required, the cost of this check is deducted from the next service level. Best for commuters, first-time visits, and bikes new to you. This service accounts for hydraulic brake servicing, for traditional cable brakes please book a gear service and cable brake service separately.

Season Ready Service

Our most popular annual service. Ideal for commuters, club riders, and anyone putting regular miles on their bike. This service refreshes the key wear components that affect ride quality, shifting performance, braking consistency, and rolling efficiency, ensuring the bike feels smooth, predictable, and ready for the season ahead. Designed to prevent mid-season issues rather than react to them. Best for club riders and regular weekly mileage. Includes hydraulic brake bleeding.

Performance and Longevity Service

A comprehensive mechanical refresh designed to restore your bike to peak condition. Ideal for high-mileage riders, all-season cyclists, and high-value bikes where long-term reliability and performance matter. This service goes beyond adjustment: addressing wear, efficiency, and component longevity to keep the bike running quietly, smoothly, and consistently in all conditions. Best suited to riders who want their bike to feel as close to “new” as possible. Best for high-mileage or high-value bikes

Hydraulic Brake Service (per brake)

Book this service to remedy spongey braking, or squealing brakes. You'll collect the bicycle with confidence in your brakes. Includes resetting pistons and lubricating with corresponding oil, replacement of disc brake pads and rotor where appropriate, system bleed. Also included in our Performance and Longevity service package.

Custom Bicycle Build

For when you want uncompromised choice in what you're building, handled and assembled by professionals. Our custom build option is price on request but includes a full consultancy, parts sourcing, build to bikefit measurements where applicable. Your bike, your fit, your way, Procycle built. Frame options currently from Basso, Willier, and Cinelli. Groupset options from SRAM, Shimano, and Campagnolo. Wheel options from Mavic, Miche, and Campagnolo. Handlebar options from Pro, Deda Elementi. We recommend seeking advice from a bike fitter during the process to confirm sizing and requirements such as handlebar.

Brake Mount Facing

Use of specialist cutting tooling to remedy a painted brake mount surface to orthogonal to the brake rotor and main axle. This ensures the calliper sits square across a true rotor. Carbon facing uses a specialist diamand rotory cutter to remove material.

Professional Drivetrain Deep Clean

£25 standalone £20 when booked alongside a service A deep clean for heavily contaminated drivetrains. Built-up grit and old lubricant are thoroughly removed from the chain, cassette and jockey wheels, restoring smooth shifting and reducing wear. Recommended where contamination is causing noise, poor shifting or accelerated wear.

Traditional Headset Refresh & Service

Does your headset feel a little grindy? This service will restore your steering to how it should feel, rectifying the correct preload, ensuring bearings are in a good condition, and the grease is fresh. If you have an integrated headset (cables through the stem/top bearing) please book our integrated headset service. Also included in our Season Ready Service, and our Performance and Longevity service.

Cable Brake Precision Tune

We eliminate that spongy, heavy feeling in your brake levers. By flushing, lubing (replacing if needed), and micro-adjusting your brake cables, pads, and calipers, we restore a sharp, 'snappy' lever pull and immediate stopping power. Your brakes will bite exactly when you want them to, with zero rubbing or squealing. Performance outcomes depend on healthy components. If your pads or cables are worn past the safety limit, we'll quote you for the replacement parts before we begin—no surprise fees. Combining multiple services? Tubeless Sealant Top Up Only

Use this when you know what sealant you've got in and we can supply the same, your sealant needs to be topped up every 3-6months in tubeless tyres. Price includes removal of valve core, injecting of fluid to correct level.

Tubeless Tyre Fit & Sealant Topup

For when you've already got tubeless ready rims with the rim tape (or sealed rim bed), valves, and are just looking for a tyre swap onto some fresh rubber. Includes removal of existing tyre within it's wear limit, cleaning of old sealant, refitting tyre, new sealant in and reseating. Also book this service if your sealant has dried up and requires changing. The service may be upgraded to a full tubeless setup if issues are found with tape/valves.

Full Tubeless Setup (per wheel)

Thinking about converting to tubeless? Book this service. Tubeless offers benefits such as self sealing, lower rolling resistance, and better grip. Includes fitting of valves, taping the wheel, seating the tyre appropriately and spinning to ensure a long term seal. Our standard workshop sealants will be Orange Seal. For road bikes we recommend having at least 28mm tyre width for conversion. If providing your own tyres and sealant for conversion please bring them along in their original packaging, and check compatibility at purchase. Included as part of our Performance and Longevity Service, or with the purchase of any tubeless ready wheelset & tyres from Procycle. We recommend buying a tubeless plug kit at the same time. (please note - tubeless tyres often leak air faster than conventional butyl inner tubes, check tyre pressures before you ride)

Mechanical Gear Tune

Mechanical gears will be indexed, chain checked for wear, replaced if necessary. The chainrings and cassette will be assessed for wear, and cables replaced as necessary. If you're having trouble shifting, or it feel sluggish/not precise then book this service.

Wheel True (per wheel)

For when your wheel has a wobble - book this service if you have a wheel that won't run straight. The end result will be a wheel within accepted tolerances of vertical and horizontal true for either rim of disk brake, any required spokes will be charged as extra. If you have more than 2 snapped spokes please book a wheel build. Also included as part of our season ready, and Performance and Longevity services.

Inner Tube Replacement (puncture remedy per tyre)

Remedying of punctures or flat tyres; cost of tube will be dependent on available stock and sizes. If providing your own tube please bring it in original packaging from a verified brand. Includes removal of old tube, insepction of tyre for debris/causation of puncture, and replacement of the inner tube. Punctures are a commonality of cycling caused by debris on the road, low tyre pressure, or other factors.

Build Bicycle From Box

Ordered Online? Not a problem, bring the bike or have it delivered to Procycle for a comprehensive build, and safety check. Pricing will depend on complexity, includes prebuilt shipped boxed bikes only.

Hub/Enclosed Gear Inner Tube Replacement

For bikes where the gears/electronics/elements need to be disconnected on top of removing the wheel (e.g. Hub gears on a Brompton/Ebikes). The extra labour constitutes the extra charge compared to a conventional puncture repair.

Second Hand Listing/Purchase Assessment Assistance

Cautious about buying second hand? Book Josh to go with you to see the bike! Second hand bikes can have many hidden undesirable qualities, take a professional mechanic with you to assess wear, work needed to put the bike safe. Get full visibility before parting with your hard earned cash. £30 buys you peace of mind. Callout charges apply, recommended to meet in neutral public locations e.g. supermarket car park/park and ride where possible. Message us directly to find out more! (York Rouleurs CC discount applicable to this package) What Procycle brings: Chain checker from Park Tool, torch, workstand, simple set of tools. This service will allow you to haggle on price, assess viability of the bicycle (savings not guaranteed). No rectificaiton work will be done at this point and would be covered under separate services. (Advice on an online listing is free remotely, physical assessment is chargeable)

The assessment fee is credited against any subsequent service. Rockshox 200Hr Fork Service

Rockshox 200Hr Rear Shock Service

Rockshox 50 Hour / Lower Leg Fork Service

A RockShox 50-hour (or lower leg) service involves a, lower leg service for forks (cleaning, replacing foam rings, and refreshing bath oil) or an air can service for rear shocks (replacing air seals, glide rings, and applying fresh grease). This essential maintenance improves small-bump sensitivity, reduces friction, prevents air leaks, and extends the life of your suspension. Cost covers labour only, a quote including parts will be included on drop off. Our Rockshox training has been provided by Rockshox in the UK.

Rockshox 50 Hour Rear Shock (Air Can) Service

A RockShox 50-hour rear shock service (air can service) involves cleaning and replacing air seals, glide rings, and lubricating oil to maintain optimal performance. This routine maintenance prevents premature wear, reduces stiction, and is recommended for models like Deluxe and Super Deluxe. Cost covers labour only, parts required will be quoted separately. Our training was provided by Rockshox in the UK.

Rockshox Reverb AXS Dropper Service 300Hrs

Designed for long-term performance, Reverb AXS requires standard disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication every 300 hours (approximately once a year) and routine maintenance at two years with Rockshox two-year service kit. Your Reverb AXS seatpost should be wiped clean from debris after each ride and inspected for damage regularly.
