Ideal for daily commuters, bikes returning from storage, or any rider who wants a professional assessment before committing to further work. This service focuses on the critical systems that affect safety and reliability, with a clear written report highlighting any wear, faults, or recommendations. If further servicing is required, the cost of this check is deducted from the next service level. Best for commuters, first-time visits, and bikes new to you Mechanical brakes only.

Our most popular annual service. Ideal for commuters, club riders, and anyone putting regular miles on their bike. This service refreshes the key wear components that affect ride quality, shifting performance, braking consistency, and rolling efficiency, ensuring the bike feels smooth, predictable, and ready for the season ahead. Designed to prevent mid-season issues rather than react to them. Best for club riders and regular weekly mileage. Does not include tubeless tyre setup or hydraulic brake bleeding.

Rockshox 50 Hour / Lower Leg Fork Service
A RockShox 50-hour (or lower leg) service involves a, lower leg service for forks (cleaning, replacing foam rings, and refreshing bath oil) or an air can service for rear shocks (replacing air seals, glide rings, and applying fresh grease). This essential maintenance improves small-bump sensitivity, reduces friction, prevents air leaks, and extends the life of your suspension. Cost covers labour only, a quote including parts will be included on drop off. Our Rockshox training has been provided by Rockshox in the UK.

Rockshox 50 Hour Rear Shock (Air Can) Service
A RockShox 50-hour rear shock service (air can service) involves cleaning and replacing air seals, glide rings, and lubricating oil to maintain optimal performance. This routine maintenance prevents premature wear, reduces stiction, and is recommended for models like Deluxe and Super Deluxe. Cost covers labour only, parts required will be quoted separately. Our training was provided by Rockshox in the UK.

Rockshox Reverb AXS Dropper Service 300Hrs
Designed for long-term performance, Reverb AXS requires standard disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication every 300 hours (approximately once a year) and routine maintenance at two years with Rockshox two-year service kit. Your Reverb AXS seatpost should be wiped clean from debris after each ride and inspected for damage regularly.

Professional Drivetrain Deep Clean
£25 standalone £20 when booked alongside a service A deep clean for heavily contaminated drivetrains. Built-up grit and old lubricant are thoroughly removed from the chain, cassette and jockey wheels, restoring smooth shifting and reducing wear. Recommended where contamination is causing noise, poor shifting or accelerated wear.

Second Hand Listing/Purchase Assessment Assistance
Cautious about buying second hand? Book Josh to go with you to see the bike! Second hand bikes can have many hidden undesirable qualities, take a professional mechanic with you to assess wear, work needed to put the bike safe. Get full visibility before parting with your hard earned cash. £30 buys you peace of mind. Callout charges apply, recommended to meet in neutral public locations e.g. supermarket car park/park and ride where possible. Message us directly to find out more! (York Rouleurs CC discount applicable to this package) What Procycle brings: Chain checker from Park Tool, torch, workstand, simple set of tools. This service will allow you to haggle on price, assess viability of the bicycle (savings not guaranteed). No rectificaiton work will be done at this point and would be covered under separate services. (Advice on an online listing is free remotely, physical assessment is chargeable)

If you’re unsure which service is right, or your bike has an unknown issue, we offer a professional assessment. You’ll receive a clear diagnosis, recommendations, and a no-pressure quote. The assessment fee is credited against any subsequent service. If the customer opts out of the quote or decides not to proceed additional time may be charged at Procycle hourly rate £100/hour on top of the deposit. Standard terms apply.
