Port Velo Cycle Works is a bike service hub in Portbury, here to keep you riding at your best. We provide bike servicing, repairs, custom builds and professional bike fitting for riders across Portishead, Bristol and the surrounding area. From commuters and club cyclists to weekend riders and performance athletes, we look after every kind of bike. Each one gets a free assessment first, so you’ll know exactly what’s needed and what it costs — no jargon, no surprises. Our workshop is more than just bike repair. It’s a trusted space for cyclists to get reliable service, quality parts and honest advice. Chain Waxing Service
Bring the bike in and we will remove the chain, inspect wear, prepare and hot wax it, then refit and carry out a basic gear check. Suitable for new or lightly used chains. Waxing works best when starting with a fresh or low-wear chain. We will always check chain condition and advise honestly if replacement is the better option. The bike leaves ready to ride with a cleaner, quieter drivetrain and a fresh starting point. New chain supply, additional chains and upgrade options available in the workshop if required.
