Service Packages

Book your bike in for a full assessment by a professional mechanic. Your bike will be carefully checked over to assess its condition and identify any work that may be required.
Once the assessment is complete, I’ll get in touch with a quote and talk through the recommended work. All parts and labour will always be approved by you before anything goes ahead.
Every bike is then given the time and attention it needs in the workshop to ensure it’s serviced properly and running at its best.

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Set front derailleur position/height

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Inspect condition of cable housing at handlebars 

Inspect suspension for damage, Check adjustments are working properly.

Inspect calliper for damage, ensure pistons are moving freely. 

Inspect bottom bracket, ensure free rotation of bearings

Check seat post for damage 

Check accessories are secure 

Inspect suspension linkage bearings 

Check clutch is functioning as it should

Check dropper post function, inspect cable and remote for damage - Ensure air pressure is correct in post

Clean pedal body and re grease where required

Check chain guide/bashguard for damage or wear. Ensure fixings are tight	

Torque crank bolts and set preload when required 

Remove and clean crankset 

stem & faceplate bolts torqued 

Air can service 

Suspension linkage bolts torqued to correct spec 

Clutch serviced & adjusted 

Wheel dishing checked 

Ensure grips are tight 

Check brake lever positioning & torque

Check dropper lever position & torque 

Check gear shifters positioning & torque 

Inspect hub bearings

Check wheels run true 

tyres inflated to correct pressure

Check calliper bolts are tight and rotor does not fowl pads 

Ensure cranks spin freely + check spacing 

Check crank bolts are tightened to specification.

Check bottom bracket cups are torqued 

Check limit & B screws set 

Check Derailleur fixing bolt is secure

Check jockey wheel condition 

Tighten derailleur hanger fixings to frame

Check hanger alignment

Ensure cable fixing bolt is secure

Check headset bearings & adjust pre load if required

Inspect headset cups for wear/damage 

Check cables are fixed to frame securely 

Check cable condition & positioning at entry/exit points on frame

Check saddle angle ok and bolts are secure

Correct anti seize/ Carbon paste applied to post

Mudguards secure

Front Pannier rack secure

Rear pannier rack secure

Pads removed & calliper + pistons cleaned
