New bike setup
Bought a new bike!? Get it checked and setup ready to ride!! New bikes very commonly are poorly built from the factory with lack of anti seize/Loctite or grease on bolts; bolts not torqued correctly and things not working perfectly. Bikes setup out of a box can also come with a bent mech hangers from impact to the packaging which send gears out of index. They are also not test ridden so a lot of the time cables stretch and send gears out of whack. It is always best to get a bike checked over for you before riding it to have peace of mind! *Parts not included.
£40
Headset change (internal design)
This is for the modern bikes where the brake/gear cables run through the headset. This meaning if the headset needs replacing it is also time to replace the cables/hoses. It is more expensive as the process is much longer. Out of this service you will also get: - As the hoses will need disconnecting they will be reconnected and bled; calipers also serviced and pistons leveled etc. - Gear cables replaced and gears indexed, hanger checked for alignment. - All other bearings will be checked over and advised if further work is required ( if required this may carry an additional cost) *Parts not included
£75

Carbon damage/crash repair service (strip down and rebuild)
With bikes being made from carbon now, breakages are unfortunately more prevalent than ever. Therefore I offer a carbon repair service. This involves me stripping the bike down and setting the components to one side. I then liaise with the best carbon repairer in the area (Scorpion Composites Ltd.) for assessment and repair. They will work closely with you to ensure you get exactly what you want, for the right price. On return to KBT, the bike will be rebuilt. This is required as the bike usually needs a full strip for carbon repair and this provides a good time to service the parts required. Due to this potentially being a long process I like to see the damage to the bike to start with before giving an estimated price. This will also give me time to pass pictures and information on to Scorpion Composites to allow them to give a rough price and timeline for the repair. *Parts not included
