About us
Hassocks Cycle works is a bicycle rental, service and repair shop based at the Hassocks Train Station. With excellent access to the beautiful South Downs National Park, cyclists can enjoy all different types of incredible routes through the countryside and villages. Having a fully qualified Cytech Level 3 mechanic means we work on every kind of bicycle from commuter bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes all the way up to E-Bikes. We have a large rental fleet catering for all riders from XXS bikes for children up to XL mountain bikes for adults.

What we offer
Major Service
A premium service is recommended every 18-24 Months. A Major Service includes everything in the Essential Service and the Full service and more. It is a complete strip down to the frame and deep clean. All components are thoroughly inspected, cleaned, re-greased and reinstalled. If new parts are needed they can be fitted at no extra cost. Hydraulic brakes are bled, hubs are serviced, wheels are trued and a new cable set is fitted. This brings your bike back to pristine operating condition. *Full Suspension bikes, Hydraulic brakes and electronic shifters may incur additional cost.

Full Service
A standard service is recommended every 12 Month. A Full Service includes everything in the Essential Service; ie. inspection and adjustment of all components, as well as the removal of the drive train and bottom bracket for cleaning and re-greasing. This is often the time to replace any parts like a rear cassette, chain or bottom bracket. If any parts or further work are required we will communicate with you first. *Full Suspension bikes, Hydraulic brakes and electronic shifters may incur additional cost.

Essential Service
A basic service is recommended every 6 Months. This is a thorough safety check of your bike. Inspecting and adjusting brakes, gears, wheels, bottom bracket and headset. It includes the fitment of cables or brake pads if necessary. Every nut and bolt is checked and if any parts or further work are required we will communicate with you first. *Full Suspension bikes, Hydraulic brakes and electronic shifters may incur additional cost.
