Service Packages

Our top-level service; a Grand Tour service is recommended every 18-24 months.

Grand Tour

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur position/height

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Fully strip down bike; wash frame, fork, wheels, brakes and degrease drivetrain.

Strip and service headset. Replace bearings as necessary.

Service front and rear hubs, inc freehub; new balls/grease in cup and cone wheels.

Service internal hub gears, as applicable.

Replace outer and inner cables on cable brake bikes.

Bleed hydraulic brakes (additional £12 for SRAM).

Replace outer and inner cables on cable gear bikes.

A comprehensive service of every piece of the bike, without a full strip down. This service is recommended every 12 months on well-used bikes.

Classic

Wash bike and degrease drivetrain.

A tune-up service: suitable for clean, well-maintained bikes and ideal for kids' bikes

Prologue

Get your bike assessed and then receive a quote. £12/10 minutes in the stand.

A standard service is recommended every 12 Month.

E-Bike Deluxe

Our full ebike service: full strip down of ebike, including motor removal. Carefully reassembled to exact specification. Recommended for eMTBs every 18-24 months and regular ebikes as required.

E-Bike Grand Tour

Remove and clean motor and reinstall to factory specification.

Full hub service, clean and inspection. All bearings and surfaces inspected, cleaned, Shimano oil dunk and grease. Reassembled and indexed with new cable if required (cost not included).
