Service Packages

Our most comprehensive service strips your bike down to ensure all moving parts are greased and operating as they should before rebuilding it ready for your next ride.

Including all the work carried out in a Standard Service plus, our Premium Service focusses on these key areas:

Bottom Bracket

Inspect bottom bracket; if loose type strip clean, lube and adjust / if sealed and play is present replace at cost.


Cockpit

Headset removed, cleaned, re-greased if applicable, refitted and checked for movement.

Wheels

Lubricate and rebuild both wheel bearing assemblies.

Premium Service

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Drivetrain/Gears

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Saddle

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Accessories

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Frame/Fork

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Handlebar/Headset/Stem

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Wheels/Tyres

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Brakes (Brake & Pad Type)

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Bottom Bracket/Cranks

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Pedals

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Set front derailleur position/height

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

NOT APPLICABLE 

Our team provide a comprehensive 32-point check aligned to British Standards as part of our Standard Plus bike service.
Including everything in Standard by default, your Standard Plus bike service will also include:

Checking frame and other core components for wear and damage.
Checking wheels are true and hubs, spokes, rims and tyres for damage.
Alignment of brakes and checking operation and effectiveness.
Lubricating chain and drivetrain while checking for wear.
Inspecting brake pads for wear and damage.
Setting gear stops and adjustment of indexing.
Checking front chainrings, rear freewheel/cassette for wear.
Checking alignment and wear of front and rear gear mechanisms.
Remove and inspect wheels for damage to hubs, bearings, spokes, rims and tyres.
Remove both axles, degrease and inspect bearings.
Remove cassette and inspect freehub (if fitted) for signs of wear.
Wet clean using our Mint Bike Wash to remove the grease
A nice buff using our powerhouse sprays to bring that bike back to shine

Plus 

Covers a safety check for your pride and joy undertaken by our fully trained mechanics.
Our detail includes:

Dry clean to remove excess dirt and grit
Safety check of the bike and any issues noted
Checking and adjusting your bike brakes (note that hydraulic brakes may incur an extra charge)
Checking and adjusting your bike gears.
Inflating tyres to correct pressures.
