Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

A safety check and adjust the bike as good as possible with no parts fitted.

A bike fit session includes Full set-up of the complete bike, with a set of measurements for referrence. Assessment of your movement and how this impacts on bike set-up and adjust the set-up accordingly. Your goal for the session is also important so we can help you achieve it, Ironman in the future, simply uncomfortable, etc.

Rear Hub Regrease Cartridge Bearings

Hub needs to be in good condition. If your hub is already rough you will not get much improvement unless you can replace the damaged parts. If the rear hub is noise when you spin the wheel it will need a freehub body replacement to fix the noise.

Fit a new tubular to a clean rim. Please ensure rim is as clean as possible before you bring it.
We use Continental rim cement.

Gears

To achieve a good result we need you bike in reasonable condition, a chain that is not overly worn, a rear derailleur without play in pivots, a smooth running cable.

Front Gears Adjusted 

We use an eco-friendly parts washer by Smart Washer. This does not use harsh chemicals so does not give the same shinny result. Cleans very effectively to give a smooth drivetrain. 

Drivetrain Clean

Check Hanger alingment. This essential for correctly working gears.
