I’m Steve and I started Crankworkshop. Established in 2020, it’s a small local business operating out of an awesome bike cave in my garden. I’ve worked in bike shops for many years, and been obsessed with bikes all my life. I’m mainly an enduro/trail mountain biker myself, I also dabble in gravel riding. My knowledge and expertise are extremely good on all types of bikes and cycling disciplines. I’m a fully qualified Cytec bicycle technician, my fully stocked professional level workshop can handle everything from simple puncture repairs to full bike builds including wheel building & truing, suspension servicing, bearing servicing, drivetrain servicing and much much more. After working in bike shops for years, as well as fixing all my own bikes and my friends bikes for many more years I don’t think there’s much I haven’t seen and learnt to fix.
