Road Premium Service

A premium service is recommended every 12-18 Months, road bike includes premium brake and gear cables. Additional cost for parts such as pads, discs, tyres and other consumables the service cost covers all labour on this type of bike.

Mountain Premium Service

A premium service is recommended every 12-18 Months, mountain bike includes fork and rear shock servicing. Additional cost for service kits varies depending on model. But this will cover all labour on an acoustic (non electric) mountain bike service and rebuild. Fork seals vary from £45+

Major Service

A standard service is recommended every 12 Month. Includes Shimano quality cable kit for brakes and gears, includes hydraulic fluid for brakes where applicable.

Bike minor Service

The minor service is an overall inspection of the bikes major components safety and adjustment of the brakes and gears. The following is covered: - Frame clean & inspection - Brake adjust. - Gear adjust. - Tyre check and inflation - Bike service report.

Assessment & Bike MOT

£35 per assessment. This is for our time, knowledge and assessment of the issue. Charge is deducted from balance if you want to complete any additional required works. Bike will be cleaned and assessed with report which is suitable for insurance claims and the quote will be valid for three months.

Bosch or Shimano e-bike major service

The e-bike major service is an complete inspection of the bikes major components, safety and adjustment of the brakes and gears as well as completing the manufactures specified service procedure. The following is covered: - Frame clean & inspection - Frame bolt torque set. - Brake cable change & adjust (or fluid for hydraulic) - Gear cable change & adjust. - Wheel truing front & rear. - Bearings, service kits and suspension included (consumables additional) - Component inspection. - Tyre check and inflation. -eBike battery check. -eBike update - eBike service report. This service will cover all labour on e-bike servicing, additional consumable parts such as chains, tyres, brake pads may be required. This service is available for Bosch, Shimano, Mahle, Suntour and TQ motors Connor does not not service or repair converted bicycles.

Bosch or Shimano Fault Finding

As a fully Bosch and Shimano certified repair centre Cairney Cycles offer fault finding and battery capacity testing for all Bosch and Shimano e-bike batteries. This is a usefully report if you plan on selling the bike as it will show the capacity of the battery and overall health of the bike.

Rental bike MOT

Clydesdale Colts or Newmains on Wheels rental bike service, you can only book this service if you are using a rental bike from Newmains on Wheels or Clydesdale Colts as part of our fleet service agreement.

Puncture or tyre fitting

Use this service for a replacement tube, plugging a tubeless tyre or replacing tubeless sealant. Charge covers all labour, tubeless conversions may require additional tape and valves depending on condition. Cost covers price of tube, tubing recycling and tyre recycling where applicable.
