About us
I'm a cyclist, a dad of 4 and personal bike mechanic to 3 of the kids who are racing and keeping my bike tools busy. I've always been a bike lover, and at age 6 I raced in my first BMX Champtionship in The Netherlands. I grew up surrounded by pushbikes and motorbikes, dipping in my toe in desert racing and trials riding. My approach is collaborative - decent communication to ensure no surprises - with videos of suspected issues and explanations of potential fixes. I will not order/replace parts without prior approval and upon return will highlight any parts that may need replacing in 6 months, for example. Like an advisory on an MOT!

The Quickie
This is a basic service to make sure that your bike is safe & sound. I recommend this for a road bike every 6 months and an MTB every 3. Full safety inspection , tyre condition checked & inflated, stem/seat post bolts checked for correct torgue, brakes (non-hydraulic) adjusted & cables lubed, gear hanger alignment check, gears adjusted & cables lubed, chain lubed, hydraulic brake bleed - add £15 per brake
