Service Packages

This is the rebuild and upgrade service or project.
We strip the bike down, inspecting as we go, we salvage what you want to keep, clean it up, and service the bike.
We recommend upgrades and swap outs, the frame is carefully examined, we will send the frame away for scanning for you if there are cracks or fissures in the carbon.
We can arrange a new paint job or fit ‘Invisiframe’ to protect your bike.
Upgrades are recommended based on your criteria, longevity for say Audax riding, or lightness for racing.


The Ultimate TLC service

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Frame/Fork

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Handlebar/Headset/Stem

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Wheels/Tyres

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Brakes (Brake & Pad Type)

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Bottom Bracket/Cranks

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Pedals

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Drivetrain/Gears

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur position/height

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Saddle

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Accessories

Pump tyres up to the desired pressure

Replace bar tape and bar ends

Full fork service

Full brake bleed & repalcement pads or shoes

bearing service/replacement if rquired

A premium service is recommended every 12-18 Months.
Faster, longer, stronger rides. 
This for the high-octane riders who don’t have time to service their high-end bikes.
The Weekend warrior, the club rider, Audax rider (long distance) or mtb/dirt bike rider.


Premium Service

A standard service is recommended every 12 Months.
When Autumn calls and you a swap to your Winter bike have this service on your summer bike.
Ride/rider type:
The more serious rider and regular rider over longer distances.
Riding with groups say once or twice a week
Higher mileage and a regular recreational usage.


The Hardy Annual Service

Check & tighten lose spokes

A basic service is recommended every 6 - 12 months.
A light touch service with an eye on the essential safety basics.
All bike types.

This is a basic annual bike check service.

This is a safety check, so we inspect closely the following.
A thorough check over.
We want to make sure your bike is running efficiently, 


The Essentail Service

Get your bike assessed and then receive a quote. 
We will examine your bike than advise you on the best course of action.

Service on Assessment (SoA)

Here you can customise your electric bike services. Please follow the same process as above because these will be displayed separately to your standard services.

e Bike Service Packages

A general service listing the advised works , replacements and swap outs. This is  ideal if you haven't ridden the bike for a while. 
Always bring the charger, the manuals and any documentation you have, this can save us hours of research.

Service & Assessment

A premium service is recommended every 18-24 Months.

Electric Premium Service

A standard service is recommended every year. Every 3-6 months if you ride in the wet or wet & muddy conditions.
All the cycle parts and braking system is checked and overhauled. The drivetrain is checked for wear, e bike motors eat up chains and cassettes!

Electric Intermediate Service

A basic service is recommended every 6 Months.
