Service Packages

The advanced is our most complete service package and is recommended every 12 - 24 Months.

This should be booked in place of every second to third general service or if your bike has done some serious miles and needs to be restored to its former glory.

This includes all the work of our general service plus all bearing areas will be serviced. 

Advanced Service

The General service is our most popular service package and is recommended every 6 to 12 months. 

The general service covers cleaning and degreasing every inch of your bike as well as adjustments of your gears, brakes and wheels. We will ensure everything is working as expected and check every part for wear and replace if required.

* Sealed systems such as bearing areas or hydraulic brake systems do include a surcharge if invasive work is required.    


General Service

This is intended as a regular check over of your bike every 2-6 months, or before a planned event. 

Included is a wipe down of your bicycle frame, cleaning and oil of your chain, a nut and bolt check and tune of your gears. 

* This should be booked as a check over and not a service. If your bike requires replacement parts this will be upgraded to our general service charged at £120.

Fittings

A 2-3 hour session covering every aspect of your interaction with the bicycle. Carried out on our Purely Custom fitting jig, utilising four camera video analysis and Gebiomized saddle pressure mapping system.

This service covers the setup of shoes & cleats as well as setting up your bike.

This service is also ideal for pre-empting a new bike purchase.

*Some integrated bicycles will need to be scheduled into our workshop for changes to be made

Bike Fit

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur position/height

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure
