Service Packages

The Artisan Cycle Workshop Gold service includes: 

• Complete Silver service

• Full bike strip-down

• Deep drivetrain clean & re-grease 

• Headset service 

• Bottom bracket removed, cleaned & greased (if possible) 

• New inner cables

Gold Service

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Drivetrain/Gears

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Saddle

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Accessories

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Frame/Fork

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Handlebar/Headset/Stem

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Wheels/Tyres

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Brakes (Brake & Pad Type)

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Bottom Bracket/Cranks

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Pedals

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Set front derailleur position/height

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

• Bronze service

• Drivetrain clean

• Cassette, chain & chainrings cleaned 

• Bottom bracket & headset health check 

• Wheel hub play inspection 

• Full frame clean

• Brake & gear performance tune



Silver Service

The Artisan Cycle Workshop Bronze service includes:

•Full safety check which covers:

  • Brakes 

  • Gears

  • Tyre condition & pressure

  • Bolt torque check 

• Minor brake & gear adjustments 

• Full drivetrain inspection
