Gear Adjustment

Professional adjustment of your bike’s front and rear shifting to ensure accurate, quiet and reliable gear changes. Includes adjustment and performance check. Does not include replacement cables, housing, derailleurs, hanger alignment or damaged components.

Gear service

A more comprehensive shifting service for bikes experiencing poor, inconsistent or noisy gear changes. Includes inspection, adjustment and detailed setup of the drivetrain and shifting system. Replacement parts, cable/housing replacement and derailleur hanger alignment are additional where required.

Chain replacement

Professional removal and installation of a new chain, including correct sizing and joining. Chain supplied separately unless otherwise agreed.

Drivetrain Deep clean

A thorough clean of the drivetrain to remove built-up dirt, oil and contamination from the chain, cassette, chainrings and derailleurs. Ideal before applying fresh lubricant or preparing a bike for winter.

Di2/AXS diagnosis & firmware

Electronic drivetrain health check using the appropriate diagnostic system. Includes system inspection, firmware check, fault diagnosis and basic setup where applicable. Replacement batteries, damaged wiring and component replacement are additional.

Hydraulic brake bleed

Professional hydraulic brake bleed to remove air and contaminated fluid and restore consistent braking performance. Brake fluid/consumables included where applicable. Replacement hoses, fittings and damaged components are additional. TT Brake- Specialist bleed service for integrated road hydraulic systems, including internally routed hoses where additional access is required +£10.

Hydraulic brake service

Comprehensive inspection and adjustment of the braking system. Includes brake alignment, pad inspection, lever/actuation check and performance test. Hydraulic bleeding(+£10), fluid and replacement parts are additional.

Brake Pad Fitting

Professional installation and alignment of a new pair of brake pads, followed by a brake performance check. Pads supplied separately.

Brake service (cable)

Bottom bracket replacement

Removal, inspection and cleaning of the bottom bracket and interfaces where serviceable, followed by correct reinstallation and torquing. Replacement bottom brackets are additional.

Headset service

Removal, cleaning, inspection and regreasing of the headset bearings and interfaces. Replacement bearings or damaged components are additional.

Professional hot-melt waxing of a new or thoroughly cleaned chain using a performance-focused wax system. Chain preparation, sizing and waxing included. Chain supplied separately.

Chain Rewax

Your existing waxed chain is professionally cleaned/prepared and rewaxed ready for use. Ideal for customers using a regular chain-waxing rotation.

Wheel and free hub service

Removal, inspection, cleaning and regreasing of serviceable hub bearings and internals. Replacement bearings or damaged components are additional.

tubeless refresh (labour)

top up of tubeless sealant, check and inspection of valve and valve core. Sealant, valves and replacement are additional unless otherwise specified

Tubeless Tyre Service

Removal/assessment of existing sealant and installation of fresh tubeless sealant per tyre. Sealant charged separately.

Wheel truing

Professional wheel truing to correct minor lateral or radial deviations and restore correct spoke tension where possible. Severely damaged wheels, broken spokes and replacement components are additional.

Tubeless set up (labour)

Professional tubeless installation including rim inspection, tyre installation, valve fitting, sealant installation and inflation. Sealant, valves and replacement rim tape are additional unless otherwise specified.

Tyre/ Tube Replacement

Generic tube included, additional cost for TPU or irregular sized tubes.

Labour Per Hour

Adult bike build

Professional assembly and setup of a standard adult bike from a boxed or partially assembled condition. Includes component installation, torque checks, gear and brake setup and final safety inspection. Complex internal routing, integrated cockpits, hydraulic systems and electronic drivetrain setup may incur additional charges.

Customer-Supplied Component Fitting

Professional fitting of customer-supplied components. Simple component installations start from £10, with more complex or internally routed installations quoted separately. Artisan Cycle Workshop reserves the right to decline installation of components that are damaged, incompatible or considered unsafe.

Our most comprehensive routine service, designed for riders who want their bike properly maintained and ready for the miles ahead. Alongside a full inspection and adjustment, key components are removed where appropriate, cleaned and serviced to keep your bike performing at its best. Includes everything in the Essential Service, plus: • Drivetrain removed and deep cleaned • Headset service • Bottom bracket service where serviceable • Detailed drivetrain inspection • Full brake performance check • Full gear setup • Wheel and bearing assessment • Frame and component clean • Di2 / AXS diagnostic check where applicable • Full torque check Notes: 1. Brake Bleeding if required will be can be added at a reduced rate of £20. 2. Health Check/ Pre Race Check

Ideal for: bikes that are regularly maintained and need a pre-race, pre-event or general condition check. A thorough safety and performance check for a bike that is generally in good condition but needs a professional once-over. Includes: • Full safety inspection • Frame and fork visual inspection • Brake inspection and adjustment • Gear inspection and minor adjustment • Wheel and tyre inspection • Drivetrain inspection and lubrication • Bolt and torque check • Headset and bottom bracket play check • Tyre pressure check • Final road test Notes Does not include component removal, bearing servicing, brake bleeding, cable replacement or major repairs. Full Overhaul Service

The complete Artisan treatment for bikes that need more than a routine service. Ideal for: bikes that have covered significant mileage, have been exposed to poor weather, have been neglected, or are due a complete refresh. Your bike is stripped down, thoroughly inspected, cleaned and rebuilt with attention to every detail. Includes: • Complete strip-down to frame • Detailed frame and component inspection • Full drivetrain removal and deep clean • Headset removal and service • Bottom bracket removal and service where serviceable • Wheel and hub bearing inspection • Complete component clean • Full bike rebuild • Brake adjustment • Gear adjustment • Electronic shifting diagnostic check where applicable • Full torque check • Final safety inspection • Comprehensive road test Note: 1. Ideal for a quick annual service for riders doing low mileage.
