Join us live: what's new in Workshop, and how to get more from it

On Wednesday 18 November at 7pm GMT (2pm ET), we're running a live webinar for everyone who uses Workshop, and anyone thinking about it. It's an hour long and free, and it's built around the questions we hear most from shops: what's changed, what's worth setting up, and how it all fits with the way you take payments.

Whether you've used Workshop since day one or you're still deciding, you'll come away knowing how to get more done at the bench and less done at the counter.

What's new

We'll start with the latest releases, shown live on a real job rather than in slides. You'll see where each feature lives, what it saves you, and how to switch it on.

Getting more from what you already have

Most shops use a handful of features every day and leave the rest. We'll cover the ones that save the most time once they're set up:

  • Online booking, so customers book themselves in around the hours you set
  • Deposits taken at booking, so big jobs don't turn into no-shows
  • Automatic customer updates as a job moves along, so there are fewer "is it ready yet?" calls
  • Parts and stock linked to the job, so nothing gets keyed in twice

A job from booking to collection

Next, we'll run one job from start to finish: the booking comes in, the bike is checked in, parts are added, the customer approves extra work from their phone, they get a message when it's ready, and payment closes the job. If you're already on Workshop, have it open in another tab and follow along.

Which POS fits your shop

Workshop connects to Shopify POS, Square and Saledock, and each suits a different kind of business:

  • Shopify POS if you sell online as well as in store, or run a repair service outside the bike trade
  • Square if you're a smaller or mobile workshop and want simple card readers with no long contract
  • Saledock if you're an established bike retailer, with one shop or several

We'll show how payments and stock flow between your POS and Workshop, and go through the offers we have running at the time.

Your questions

The last 15 minutes are yours. Add a question when you register and we'll make sure it's covered, or ask it live in the chat.
