Focus:
A complete introduction to all core e-bike components, including hub motors, batteries, chargers, controllers, throttles, cadence sensors, displays, wiring harness and systems.
Objective:
Build a strong foundation in e-bike systems by understanding how each component functions, how they work together, and how to follow key safety protocols when working with these systems.
Level 2: Advanced Diagnostics and Repairs
Focus:
- Understand the relationships and interactions between system components
- Hands-on diagnostics for each component—fast, accurate, and safe
- Interpreting wiring diagrams with confidence
- Effective multimeter use for targeted diagnostics
- Advanced troubleshooting using professional tools and repeatable techniques
Objective:
Technicians will develop professional-level skills in diagnosing failures quickly and confidently without part-swapping or guesswork—enabling them to safely service any brushless hub motor e-bike or brushless motor micro-mobility device with precision and speed.
Level 3: Lithium Battery Safety & Testing
Focus:
- In-depth lithium battery safety protocols
- Best practices for handling, charging, and storage of batteries
- How to identify damaged or dangerous batteries
- Accurate testing of battery capacity using diagnostic tools, hardware and software
