Bikebook is thrilled to announce the launch of our first-ever Mechanic of the Year Award.
We aim to recognise the hidden talent of the cycling world - the hard-working mechanics who ensure our bikes run without difficulty.
From August 12th, cyclists across the UK can vote for their favourite local bike mechanic or bike repair shop repair. This campaign aims to shine a spotlight on the skilled professionals who form the backbone of our cycling community.
"We built bikebook to link cyclists with nearby independent bike fixers," the bikebook team explains. "Now, we're going a bit further by giving credit to the great skill and commitment in our group."
The mechanic with the most votes will win the title of bikebook Mechanic of the Year 2024 and get a great reward - a 6-month Workshop subscription to bikebook's premium services.
To get involved, simply head to our Mechanic Zone to check if you are already listed and to download marketing assets to help you boost your business awareness.
But there's more!
Cyclists who vote will have a chance to enter a raffle where one lucky participant will get a £150 voucher for a bike service with any mechanic they choose.
From 10:00 on the 12th of August until 23:59 10th of September cyclists across the UK can vote for their favourite local bike mechanic or bike repair shop repair. This campaign aims to shine a spotlight on the skilled professionals who form the backbone of our cycling community.
