Here you can customise your electric bike services. Please follow the same process as above because these will be displayed separately to your standard services.

EBike Service Packages

All E-Motors sent to us will be Tested and Inspected with a Diagnostics report provided to confirm or recommend the level of work needed. This E-Motor Inspection is included in the price of all other Services.
Not sure what is wrong with your E-Bike Motor?
We can diagnose and inspect all the leading brands. Your diagnostics report will include any fault codes discovered and the necessary repair work, with an estimate of costs. Once inspected we can reassemble the motor with no repairs or you can upgrade to our regular motor service for an extra £20.

E-BIKE MOTOR INSPECTION 

This is our recommended service to maintain your E-Bike Motor in full working order.
We will test the motor upon arrival and check for any fault codes. Then proceed to inspect the drive gears, bearings or belts depending on the E-Motor brand or model. The E-Motor will receive a FULL CLEAN and REGREASE before reassembly.
Based in Cumbria we can confidently say, that with regular servicing these E-bike Motors will take (almost) everything thrown at them!

REGULAR MOTOR SERVICE - FROM £65

The outer main Crankshaft Bearings are the most common bearings to start showing signs of wear.
If after our initial E-Motor Inspection, there are any signs of damage or defective Crankshaft bearings, we can replace them for you with a high quality replacement kit.
*Final Cost will depend on the E-Motor model and price for Replacement Bearings. This service can be upgraded to a full bearing Service if required.

CRANKSHAFT BEARING REPLACEMENTS - FROM £80*

Our full tear down and bearing replacement service where every bearing within the motor is changed. We only use high quality bearings and grease, as recommended by the motor manufacturers.
Along with this we will thoroughly strip, clean and regrease your E-Motor removing any signs of and protecting against water ingress before reassembling your E-Motor.
*Final Cost will depend on the E-Motor model and price for Replacement Bearings.

FULL BEARING SERVICE - FROM £182*

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur position/height

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure
