Collection Booking Pre-Payment Configuration

Please edit your services to reflect what you offer and fully customise the description and prices accordingly. If you operate less than three levels of service, please look at our pre-selected items, and decide what level your services match. You can remove a level by simply unticking it.

Service Packages

A premium service is recommended every 18-24 Months. Recommended for the keen cyclist, off roaders and for the restoration of classic bikes. 

In addition to the standard service, we will strip your bicycle down to component level, including headset, wheel hubs and bottom bracket removal, replace loose wheel bearings if applicable and inspect condition of all components for wear or damage. All parts will be deep
cleaned and then  reassemble using fresh lubricants. Hydraulic brakes will be bleed if needed
(Excludes suspension components)

Includes Shimano Di2 / Sram firmware updates, but not diagnostics, which are available separately

Premium Service

Inspect frame for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, seat clamp area, bottle cage and accessory mounting points

Inspect / adjust suspension linkages (if required)

Inspect fork for damage/wear including dropouts, main tubes, crown, steerer tube and accessory mounting points

Suspension forks, clean/inspect seals and upper tubes. Check for function

Inspect headset for wear/corrosion, adjust

Inspect stem for wear, check/adjust torque, straight

Inspect handlebar for wear/damage, check torque

Inspect handlebar tape/grips for wear/damage

Inspect/adjust hub bearings for wear/damage, ensure smooth movement/no play

Inspect spokes and rim for wear/damage

Inspect spoke tension and true lateral/radial as appropriate

Inspect tyres for condition and wear

Inspect tubeless system, top-up or replace consumables as appropriate

Inspect condition of lever, including main body, blades and position. Adjust if required. 

Inspect condition of hose/cable

Inspect condition of brake pads

Inspect caliper for correct function including clean/lube pistons

Inspect condition of hydraulic fluid if applicable

Inspect brake rotor for wear/damage/torque

Adjust brake, ensure correct function including no rub and appropriate bite-point

Clean and inspect bottom bracket shell threads if appropriate

Inspect bottom bracket torque, ensure free rotation of bearings

Inspect chain rings/crank arms/spindle for wear/damage

Install crankset, ensure smooth running/no play

Inspect pedal body for wear/damage

Ensure smooth rotation of pedal bearings and check for play

Inspect and regrease pedal/crankarm threads

Inspect cassette for wear/damage and torque

Inspect chain for wear/damage lubricate

Ensure derailleur hanger is straight and secure

Inspect rear derailleur cable/electronic wire for wear/damage

Inspect rear derailleur for wear/damage

Set rear derailleur upper/lower limits and b-tension

Adjust rear derailleur indexing

Inspect front derailleur for wear/damage

Set front derailleur position/height

Set front derailleur upper/lower limits

Adjust front derailleur indexing

Update electronic drivetrain firmware

Charge/replace electronic drivetrain batteries

Clean and inspect seat post and clamp. Grease/fibre grip as appropriate

Clean and insect saddle rails/clamps. Adjust position if needed

Check saddle for wear/damage

Ensure any accessories are safe/secure

Brake bleeding if required

A standard service is recommended every 12 Month.
Brakes are balanced and tightened, pads or cables replaced if necessary
Gears are tuned and indexed, cables and parts replaced if necessary
Headset and bottom bracket are checked for play and adjusted if necessary
Chain checked for wear and cleaned or replaced if necessary & lubricated
Chainrings and cassette/freehub checked for wear and lubricated
All bolts checked including handlebar, saddle and crank bolts
Wheels are trued, hubs are checked for play and adjusted if necessary
Wheel rim condition inspected for wear
Tyres are inflated to correct pressure
Unlike most bike shops, additional work such as the fitting of replacement parts is included with this service. e.g. fitting of tyres, new chain, gear cables or brakes pads (you just pay for the parts).

(Excludes suspension components, and hydraulic brake bleeding and Di2, Fitting of tubeless tyres additional £10)

Standard Service

Recommended every 6 months or 750 miles whichever comes first.

Basic Service

Check front derailleur cable for damage

Fixing software issues, and fault finding on all Shimano Di2 systems. Unbricking individual units and battery checking

Di2 fault finding, diagnosis, updating and repair

Other Services

Special jig allows me to remove stuck seatpost from aluminium and steel frames. The cranks are removed and the frame is secured in the jig, then the seatpost is clamped to into the puller, which exerts a direct vertical pull with enough force to pull the seatpost free.

Wheel Bearing Replacement

I've a lot of experience in selling bikes, from kids bikes, to high end road / mountain bikes and e-bikes. Bikes can be serviced prior to selling to get the best price. I charge a commision based on the sale price of the bike, typically between 10% - 20%. I handle all of the packing up of the bike and arranging the shipping, which the buyer pays for. Custom Bike Build - Road Bike

Replacement of the headset bearings, where the brake cables are internally routed through the upper bearing. This replacement typically means, removing bar tape, disconnecting the brakes hoses and re-bleeding of the brakes. In some circumstances new brake hoses may also be required

I'm good a getting the best price for your bike. I'll clean up and make sure the bike is good to sell. I'll advertise your bike, when sold I'll also box the bike and arrange shipping, which the buyer pays for.  I take a fee based on the final sale price
