Viva Las Vegas: Reclaiming the Service Department at CABDA West!


What a week! The dust has finally settled on CABDA West 2026, and the team at Workshop by bikebook is still buzzing from the energy at the World Market Center in Las Vegas.

We headed to Nevada with one mission: to show the industry that the "Operating System" for the modern bike shop has arrived. Teaming up with our partners at Celerant, we spent two days tucked into Booth 718, talking shop, demoing our new brand identity, and proving that the service department doesn't have to be a black hole of paperwork and missed opportunities.


The "Power Couple" of Retail Tech

Our partnership with Celerant was the talk of the show floor. For too long, bike shops have struggled with "system silos"—where the POS doesn't talk to the workshop, and inventory management is a manual guessing game.

Seeing the "lightbulb moment" on retailers' faces as we demonstrated our seamless integration was easily the highlight of the week. Beyond the tech, it was a genuine pleasure to connect with so many thriving bike businesses. From mobile mechanics carving out their own niche to multi-store retailers looking to scale their service efficiency, the sentiment was clear: the industry is ready to modernize.

We heard stories of shops:
